优势，即强调研究生相对于本科生在知识、学术方面的优势，如：知识面更广(wider knowledge)，学术更专业(more professional)，眼界更广阔等(broaden one’s horizon)。
益处，即强调考研对你的未来的积极影响(have a positive effect on„)，可以从求职、职业规划、人生经历等方面入手进行说明。可参考的词汇、短语如下：be helpful, contribute to, be beneficial to, be conductive to, be a definite advantage, become a strong point when it comes to„等等。
对于那些在职考生或有工作经验的考生来说，考官乐于知道他们为什么(放弃工作而)重新学习。考生可以直言在工作发现某些知识或技能很重要，希望能通过学习在这些方面进行提高 (In my work, I found „ is rather important. I always believe that one will easily lag behind unless he keeps on learning. So I choose to go back to school and improve myself。)。

▶自我简介
我先简要介绍一下基本信息。我本科就读于帝都一所211财经类院校，貌似很好猜，研究生报考人民大学商学院产业经济学。录取结果已出，我的初试总分414，其中数学147，专业课802经济学129，英语73，政治65。这篇帖子主要说说我的考研心得，最后也有一点经验分享。
回首看看过去的一年，时间真的如白驹过隙般一闪而过。如今想要写点什么，我好像突然化身白云大妈，“词”起“笔”伏，但又不知从何说起。既然这样，我就从题目开始，慢慢说说我的考研路。
一.晚起鸟养成计划(大家请勿模仿)
话说那是2011年的秋天，虽然有些遥远，大学入学的第一个学期，班主任曾这样跟我们说：“同学们啊，现在你们已经进入了大学，是时候为以后做打算了。大学毕业后，你们不外乎这么几条路：考研、出国、就业、公务员。你们要早些计划，早些安排!”
班主任的话让同学们群情激昂，我也在那时下定决心选择继续深造读研的道路。这哪里是晚起鸟，分明就是早起的鸟儿啊!可问题是，决心就只是决心，直到2014年的第一个学期，我才开始在考研路上徐徐迈步。然而，这只是晚起鸟养成的第一步。接下来需要的就是绝不早开始复习的果敢和拖延症晚期诊断书了。这些特质从我的日程表中可见一斑。
2014年3月至4月，通过在校园各处接到考研辅导机构的传单，出没于各种考验辅导讲座，我成功获得技能“对考研略知一二”。我知道了研究生分为学硕和专硕，考研科目有数学、英语、政治和专业课。我整理出一份适合早起鸟们的日程安排，购买了一套丝毫没有用到的基础练习题。我心里对即将开始的复习生活产生憧憬。
2014年5月，我从学姐处购得习题、教材、单词书、复习方法若干。我听从身为考研辅导机构代理的学姐的经验，排除报班复习之路，并和小伙伴探讨各自关于考研的了解。我持续着对即将开始的复习生活的憧憬。
2014年6月，我准备各科期末考试，依旧保持对即将开始的复习生活的憧憬。

2014年7月至8月，我凭莫名的冲动回家休养生息，并终于成功成为了晚起鸟大军中的一员。
二.未能早起，只能快飞
浑浑噩噩的暑期生活让我刻骨铭心地懂得了什么是自作自受。9月开学季，我终于返校。我幸而找到了一个一同复习的小伙伴，开始了已憧憬数月的复习生活。
万事开头难。刚刚开始复习时，我最大的感受就是不知从何处着手。我掰着手指细细算着日子，规划将以何种节奏过完接下来的几个月。作为晚起鸟，我的压力来自各个方面，而最大的压力自然就是时间。记得那时候，我也曾向其他考研的同学打探复习进度。于是在图书馆、开水房、小路上经常会出现这样的对话：
我：“你政治看的怎么样了呀?”
A：“大纲解析才刚刚看完一遍，你呢?”
我：“„„”
我：“亲爱的，你数学看得怎么样啦?”
B：“也就是过了一遍而已啦，现在要是还没看完一遍不就完了?”
我：“„„是呀是呀„„”
时间不等人，为了不辜负时光，我和小伙伴毅然选择了和图书馆每日相伴。我们每天的生活从早饭后排队进入图书馆开始，结束于闭馆时些许凄婉的“回家”曲调。生活有一点单调，但是晚起鸟绝对没有机会感到厌倦!我和小伙伴每日埋头奋斗，吃饭的时候我们会交流复习中的疑点，回宿舍的路上我们会互相提问，这也算是一点点调剂。
复习的时间过得飞快，每天固定的轨迹不断牵扯着我向前走，走着走着就走到了路的尽头。带着晚起鸟最基本的觉悟，我直到考试的前一天晚上，甚至是考试第一天的晚上，我都在图书馆奋战。因为每一秒都有可能变为决胜的关键。
三.待到春花烂漫时
考研结束，重头戏才刚刚到来，那就是——等成绩!说实话，等成绩的期间，我的内心每天都十分忐忑焦躁，完全没有心思提早准备复试。为了以防万一，我在假期找了一份实习，一边工作一边焦急等待。没想到的是，结果出来的瞬间，我的心情竟然是平静的。我想，大多数的考研人应该都是这样的吧。庆幸的是，初试成绩要好于我之前的预估。接下来我就是按部就班地准备复试，返校，复试，并等来了最终的录取通知。
回顾考研路，从开始的迷茫无措到如今的喜得捷报，仿佛一场梦，或许可以总结为考研晚起鸟的逆袭吧。有人说，选择了考研就必须风雨兼程，没错。对我来说，这可以用最简单的两个字概括，坚持。说起来这有点像尝过百遍的心灵鸡汤，但我觉得，这是对每个考研人来说最重要的品质。
如今又是新的一年考研季，下一批考研人在奋斗了，你们要加油。当然，作为负责的学姐，我还是想告诉你，你的复习生活最好从避免成为一只掉队的晚起鸟开始。
▶考研复习经验

一、数学
由于我的确存在时间紧任务重的情况，所以我放弃了通读教材而是直接从全书看起。但是在时间充裕的情况下，其实教材是有必要看的，课后题也要过。全书有些题的难度比真题略高，我做全书的方法就是：基础题、类型题我一定要搞懂;难度特别大的题目，我一定要看懂答案。最好在看过很多次以后，我能够熟悉思路，自己解出来。
习题方面，我选择的是《基础过关660题》。我觉得这本习题对打基础挺有用的，特别是刚开始复习时。因为我全书过得很快，我高数的很多概念是有些含糊不清的。这本习题的很多题目会针对这些概念进行反复练习，比较有助于理解和记忆。全部过完一遍以后，我就开始做了一些成套的习题，但是真题我都是留到最后一个月才做的。
其实我觉得，你要复习的比较充分以后再做真题，不然题就浪费了。做成套的习题的时候，你一定要计时，要注意自己的时间分配。可能一开始的时候，你在限定时间里做不完，但是慢慢地你就会熟悉，就会提速。这些你不能考试的时候再做，一定要提前练习。因为我的复习时间确实比较紧，所以我做的习题量不是很大，主要就是做了《400题》。我感觉这些题点难，但我还是坚持做完。这里又说到了，坚持真的很重要。
二、英语
英语这个学科我觉得是因人而异的。基础薄弱的同学就要多花心思，基础比较好的同学就可以适当把时间匀给别的学科。至于我的英语复习，我又要提到时间了。我觉得复习英语最好的状态应该是：至少过一遍考研单词，能见词知义;至少要做一些阅读，完型的习题。这也是我最开始的计划。
我的时间安排真的不允许我充分复习，我只能把更多时间放在数学和专业课的复习上。英语我主要就是做了考研英语真题和详解，真题还是非常重要的。大家一定要记住往年真题中出现过的生词，重复率往往很高，阅读的考察方法也经常会很近似。因此真题在我看来是英语复习的重中之重。因为我的英语成绩也不是很高，所以就不说太多经验。
三、政治
政治方面，大家要看大纲解析，同时配合《1000题》进行熟悉。最重要的是冲刺阶段的押题卷，我在政治上的惨痛经验就是，每一套题都要背!当初我时间太赶，就只背了肖老师的预测题，可是这一次大部分题都被另外一套试卷押中了。还是那句话，如果时间来得及，你一定要充分准备!其实政治我真的也没有什么好说的，就是按部就班吧，关键是我的政治成绩也确实不高。
四、专业课
由于各个专业不同，大家的专业课的复习当然也不同。人大商学院产经初试考802经济学，里面包括微观、宏观和政治经济学。我复习专业课主要就以课本为主，无论是基本概念还是课后习题，大家一定要看懂做透。另外真题也是十分重要，你要了解一下报考院校专业以往真题的命题特点、题型等等，这都对复习有很大的帮助。
我总结的经验没有特别细致的像是具体的时间规划的内容。一是我的情况可能并不适用于大多数人，也并不是最好的复习节奏;二是每个人都有自己的特点，自己摸索着复习规划 4页共4页
