Step 1 Warming up 1. Greetings T:Good morning, everyone! Ss: Good morning, Miss Tang. T: Nice to meet you. Ss: Nice to meet you, too. T: Today we are going to learn a new lesson--- Unit 2 Ability Part A 2.Lead in: 揭示并板书课题:Unit 2 Ability Part A。 T: Now, read after me. 3. Revision 1) 复习几种动物单词,如:cat,dog,duck等.教师出示快速出示图片,只让学生迅速看一眼,然后猜一猜是哪种动物. T: Before our new lesson, let’s do some review. Say the animal quickly. Ready? Ss: Yes. T: Ok, let’s go. S1: Cat. S2: Dog. S3: Fish. …
2) Game: W hat can I do? 游戏规则:根据图片的提示让学生猜一猜这种动物的特长。如cat对应sing等。

(一)教学单词run、swim、draw。
A、1.教师呈现ppt,引入单词run的教学 T:What is it dong? Ss: run,跑步。
2.教师出示单词卡片,进行单词run的教学。(齐读、开火车读,手心手背读单词)
T: Look at my card, run. Ss: 齐读。
B、1.教师做游泳的动作,让学生猜是什么动作。 T:Look, what am I doing? Ss: 游泳。
2.进行单词swim的教学。请同学注意swim尾音的发音。(大小声,男生女生读,手心手背读单词)
C、1.教师做画画的动作,让学生猜,导入单词导入draw T: What am I doing? Ss:写字?画画?
2.进行单词draw教学,并强调dr的发音。(升降读单词,摇头晃脑读单词,开火车) D、Game---I say, you do T: OK. Now let’s play a game --- I say, you do. I say the word, and you do the action. Understand? Ss: Yes. T: (请A生站在讲台上,其他学生看卡片读单词,A生做出相应的动作) Well done. Now let’s change. I need a student to stand here .Who can try?

1. PPT出示鸟的图片说;I ‘m a bird. I can sing .引出I can sing的教学。
2.教学单词can及句型I can…(看手势操练词句) 3. PPT出示猫的图片说; I ‘m a cat. I can __. 引导学生说出I can dance. 4. PPT出示鸭子图片说; I ‘m a duck. I can ___ . 引导学生说出I can swim. 5.PPT出示一个画家图片说:I ‘m a painter. I can ___ . 引导学生说出I can draw. 6. PPT出示狗的图片说; I ‘m a dog. I can __. 引导学生说出I can run。

(三)课文教学 1.听音,回答问题
T:Open your book, turn to page 9. First, let’s listen and answer my question. What can Fido do ? 2. 再播放课文录音二到三次,采用全班学生跟读,个别学生或小组跟读的形式学习对话内容。 T:Now, listen and repeat. 3.让学生表演对话。
T: Now let’s act out the dialog .Who can try ? 4. 巩固练习。
(1) 完成课本第10页的Look and say。 T: Turn to page 10. Read the sentence by yourself. (2) 请学生当小老师带读。

(四)语音教学
1. 教师出示卡片ten,pen和hen,请学生跟读并观察、比较单词书写中共同的字母是什么? 2.学习单词中e的发音。
3. 播放课文Listen and learn the English sounds.学生认真听并模仿。

2.完成《活动手册》中本课的练习。

We can see from the illustration there is a father talking to his son. Having heard his son’s words “Dad, I am a bit worried about disposing of nuclear weapons”, the father replies, “If you can empty the dustbin here, you can do anything”, pointing the garbage can beside him.
Funny and common as the conversation sounds, it reflects that the father intends to advise his son to do small things before undertaking the big. Unquestionably, doing small things is the first step of success and will lay root for doing something big. By doing something small, we are enabled to accumulate experience, master skills and train ourselves to be more patient. In other words, we can be well prepared for further challenges in the course of fulfilling small things. By contrast, those who set out to do something big will be constantly haunted by disappointment, frustrations or even failures. As when opportunity “something big” appears, they can hardly seize them because of the lack of experience and confidence stems from doing small things. Taking the picture presented above as a case in point, how can the little boy succeed in disposing of nuclear weapons if he even doesn’t know how to empty the dustbin?
From my perspective, under no circumstances should we undervalue the power of doing small things. Instead, we should regard small things as the source of experience, skills and the prerequisite of success. “Great achievement only belongs to those who can do small things perfectly.” Aristotle once said.
The Impact of the Internet on the Way People Communicate
Being a product of high-technology, Internet and computers are being more and more widely used in our everyday life. They can offer us fast and convenient service for communication.
In recent years, computers and the Internet have become popular among university students. Quite a lot of them use them at school to keep in touch with their families and friends instead of going home to see them in person or writing letters. Which, of course brings conveniences to them, but I don’t think it is good to do
so.
Internet
makes
electronic communication convenient, but it will never replace face to face contact. Both electronic communication and face-to-face contact are important in our life. What we should do it to apply each communication ways in the right way.
Technology development enables us to communication with parents and friend in a brand new and fast way, but it is face-to face contact that deepens the feelings and emotions between people.

The thought-provoking drawing mirrors a common phenomenon in contemporary society that there is the negative influence of mobile phone. As is subtly shown in the picture,so many people are too much addicted to cell phones that they use walking sticks to see the road. What a meaningful cartoon!
It is to me that indulging in mobile phones produces native influences on body and mind. First and foremost, overusing mobile phones is detrimental to physical health for watching mobiles for a long stretch definitely impairs one’s eyesight. Suppose that a man is addicted in cell phones in whatever situation, it will be very disadvantageous for him to concentrate on his work, learning, or daily life and is very likely to hurt him. Furthermore, overusing cell phones adversely affects state of mind. An addict may stay inside his bubble instead of pursuing other endeavors, which eventually prevents the growth of think skills.
It is high time that we took effective measures to curb this trend. I cherish a belief that cell phones themselves are not good or bad and we can benefit a lot from it as long as we take a good control over them.
Therefore, though electronic communication brings convenience to our life, I still don’t think the electronic communication can replace face-to-face contact.

As to this picture above, an interesting dialogue happens between the parents and their child on the Internet. The parents, sitting in front of a computer, say “...we look forward to seeing you again the next time your computer crashes...” Funny as it shows, which naturally leads us to be associated with the impact of the Internet on the way people communicate. It is no dout that face-to-face contact is inevitably impaired by electronic communication in the era of Internet.

When we enjoy the benefit that the net brings us, we need to realize that the virtual net could never take place of the face-to-face communication among human beings. After all, we all live in a real world.
