这几天一直在下雨，我都没有办法到室外玩了。妈妈问我，知道不知道雨水是怎样形成的。我看过《神奇校车》——水的故事，当然知道雨是怎样形成的。
地面上湖泊、江河、小溪、海洋里的水受热变成水蒸气。水蒸气上升到空中，越往上，空气越冷。水蒸气遇冷变成水滴，许多水滴悬在空中，形成云。当云中的水滴越来越大时，就落下来，这就是雨滴的形成。
妈妈说，想不想亲眼观察一下雨滴的形成过程呢？我当然愿意了。
妈妈和我一起做了一个小小的试验：雨滴的形成。
我们先在保鲜盒中倒入一小部分热水，然后用保鲜膜把口封住。为了快速看到过程，妈妈又让我拿了些冰块放到保鲜膜上面。几秒钟后，保鲜膜里面开始形成很多的水滴，还往下滴。
妈妈说雨水形成的过程就是这个原理。水受热变成水蒸气，水蒸汽是气体轻，就会上升，遇冷又重新变成水，水是液体，会再落下来，就形成了雨。
